This kitchen remodel took place in the upscale Windward Towers of Newport News overlooking this gorgeous view of the James River Bridge.
The dated cabinets and laminate tops were replaced with new sleek white slab doors and quartzite tops. Custom pantry cabinets with pull-out storage flanked both sides of the new side-by-side refrigerator. A built-in in trash pull out and tray divider were added for ease of use.
The existing white freestanding range was replaced with a stainless built-in oven and a separate glass cook top. An over-the-range microwave was installed to save on precious counter space.
The eat-in area was customized with a new wrap around butcher block top with seating on both sides as well as additional built-in storage for the client to display her glassware.
New lighting included LED under-cabinet lights as well as a ceiling mounted fixture and a recessed light over the eat-in area. The final touches included a herringbone pattered back splash and we painted the ceiling blue for a pop of color.
